This section
provides a mini reading for all 144 possible combinations of Sun signs
combined with Moon signs. The Sun and Moon are of course two of the
most important considerations in astrology, and by combining and
blending these two, a more unique and personal reading begins to
emerge. This, in essence is the bringing together of the basic
individuality and the instinctive.
Bear in mind the moon is your emotional life. It
relates to immediate emotional responses. It's those reactions
instilled by conditioning; the memory and learned habit patterns. The
influence of the Moon is more subtle, for it relates to personality
beneath the surface; your feelings and your subconscious self. It shows
how you react to those around you based on the sum of your conditioned
viewpoint and unguarded self-projection. Often, the Moon's place in the
chart shows a considerably different side of the nature, a side
fostered by emotions, upbringing, and habit patterns that have
developed over time.
The Sun the core of the individual; the overriding
nature and will. Now it begins to be clear why each of the Sun signs
can reflect such observable traits and yet still come in so many
varieties.

Intercepted Signs
( 144 items )
A sign that does not appear on a house cusp but is wholly contained
within a house. When a sign is intercepted in a house, the
opposite sign is also intercepted in the opposite house; consequently we
find Cancer intercepted in the eighth house with Neptune in it.
Regarding the influence of interception, we
find that when a planet is in an intercepted sign its influence is held in
abeyance or latency until by progression it moves out of the intercepted sign.
This tendency may be somewhat modified by a strong aspect, or a number of minor
or weak ones, but an intercepted planet never has the same power over the life
as one that is free.

Planets in the Twelve Houses
( 120 items )
For the purposes of Astrology, the Sun and the Moon are dealt with as
planetary bodies. Each of the Planets has a particular influence of its
own which affects human nature differently according to the area of the
sky or the House in which it falls in the Chart.

Natal Aspects
( 409 items )
Certain aspects are
considered more important than others. Those generally recognized by
the astrological community are Conjunction (0°), Opposition (180°), Square (90°), Trine (120°), Sextile (60°), Semi-Square (45°), Sesqisquare (135°), and Quincunx (150°). Understandably these aspects are more significant when they are exact, but they are considered to function within an orb
of influence, the size of which varies according to the importance of
each aspect. Thus conjunctions are believed to operate with a larger
orb than sextiles. Most modern astrologers use an orb of 8° or less for
aspects involving the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter and smaller orbs for the
other points.
Use the filter box below to narrow the list of planets and aspects. Enter the planet name or aspect to show only those entries.

Sun Signs
( 12 items )
|
Both Western and Vedic astrology employ a zodiac which divides the
ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun through the heavens) into twelve
astrological signs of equal length.
A fundamental part of astrology is the belief that space and time (as seen from the earth) are ordered into twelve equal segments or divisions called the zodiac.
Each of the twelve individual segments or divisions is known in
astrology as a zodiac sign. According to astrological theory, celestial
phenomena reflect or govern human activity on the principle of 'as
above, so below'. Accordingly, astrologers believe that the Signs of the Zodiac represent twelve basic personality types or characteristic modes of expression.

Moon Signs

|
Since the Moon goddess looks after the garden and the home, your Moon Sign
can help you see how and where you ground yourself in your domestic sphere.
Are you the gypsy, always picking up and moving? Or do you resist any change
in your environment and lose it when somebody wants to trim a branch in the
yard?
Some people forget that the moon is our closest celestial neighbor and exerts considerable influence on the earth (tidal influence) and its inhabitants.

Planets
( 9 items )
 |
To ancient astrologers the planets represented the will of the gods and
their direct influence upon human affairs. To modern astrologers the
planets represent basic drives or impulses in the human psyche.
Modern astrologers differ on the source of the planets' power. Some
hold that the planets exert their influence directly through
gravitational or some other unknown power. Others hold that the planets
have no direct influence in themselves, but are mirrors of basic
organising principles in the universe. In other words, the basic
patterns of the universe repeat themselves everywhere, and 'as above so
below'. Therefore, the patterns that the planets make in the sky
reflect the ebb and flow of basic human impulses.
The planets are also
associated, especially in the Chinese tradition, with the basic forces
of nature.

Houses
( 12 items )
The
twelve houses can be considered as six polarities or opposing pairs of
houses having a complementary action. The six houses below the horizon
(1-6), or personal
houses, show how the individual is inclined to demand or act, and thus
to affect his or her life and environment. The six houses above the
horizon (7-12), or social
houses, represent the external means, permitting and moderating people
and circumstances, on which the manifestation of personal will depends.
