A recent article published by the Minneapolis Star Tribune suggests that everyone is wrong about their zodiac sign because of the wandering rotational axis of the earth.

This is both true and false.....mostly false..... On The Strange House, it's totally false.

There are actually two zodiacs.

Recently (and repeatedly), an email message was sent that claims that on August 27th - Mars will be the closest to earth as it has been in 60,000 years (I chose the most fantastic number, but there are variations).  Karen and I thought this was great and started looking for used telescopes.  After all, an event like this doesn't happen every day.

Fortunately, before we spent any money, I did some checking into the claim.  First, I checked into my own chart for that day and found that the moon in in Sagittarius and Mars is in Cancer.  Mars was in the wrong part of the sky to be visible at this point in time!

Take a look at the candidates and their astrology for election day and beyond.  Perhaps you can find the winner in the stars.
